Working with SITE\u2019s Senior Leadership Team and engaging with hospitality professionals from around the world was very intriguing as well.<\/p>  <h3>Q: What goals or top priorities do you have for members and chapters for 2024?<\/h3>  <p><span class=\"c-type__emphasis\"><strong>A: <\/strong><\/span>This year, I want to enrich the membership experience. My philosophy is, if you improve the \u201cquality\u201d of the experience, it will help us reach our quantitative goals. Chapters are an integral part of SITE, and I want to work with them to streamline the support we offer as a global SITE team.<\/p>  <h3>Q: Can you preview something SITE members should be excited at Global Conference in Istanbul next month?&nbsp;<\/h3>  <p><span class=\"c-type__emphasis\"><strong>A: <\/strong><\/span>This year, we will have a SITE Membership Booth at Global Conference. If you are attending, please come by the booth and meet the Membership Team!<\/p>  <h3>Q: What destinations are at the top of your travel bucket list?&nbsp;<\/h3>  <p><span class=\"c-type__emphasis\"><strong>A:<\/strong><\/span> I was born in Germany, so I would love to visit! Other travel bucket list locations include Africa (e.g., Kenya and Ghana), Australia and Brazil.<\/p>  <h3>Q: Did you make a New Year&#8217;s resolution this year?<\/h3>  <p><span class=\"c-type__emphasis\"><strong>A:<\/strong><\/span> I did not make a New Year\u2019s resolution, but I have a one-word theme for this year. For 2024, my one-word theme is \u201cgratitude.\u201d<\/p>  <p>Neuroscientists have studied the effects of gratitude on the brain. It has been scientifically proven that our mind cannot focus on positive and negative information at the same time.
