Fred Edson, a longtime SITE member, has grown his involvement with SITE this year: stepping up to serve as a strategic partner and, excitingly, working as part of the host destination team that will bring SITE Classic to Puerto Rico in 2026.<\/p>

Here\u2019s what inspires Fred across his work with SITE, and a teaser of what he and his team have already starting working on for next year\u2019s SITE Classic (and a reminder, too, that 2026 hosted buyer applications are open now if you\u2019d like to join us at the El Conquistador Resort!).<\/p>

Q: As a SITE member for almost 20 years, how has your membership helped you personally and professionally?<\/strong><\/h4>

A: SITE has been pivotal to my success. When I entered a new market without any contacts, SITE quickly connected me to customers and opportunities. Volunteering led me from committees to chapter president, where I gained leadership skills and built lasting relationships. Nearly two decades of involvement have shaped both my career and personal growth. And just recently I was appointed to the SITE Foundation Board of Trustees where I am looking forward to the next chapter in my support of SITE.<\/p>

Q: What inspired you to take your involvement a step further and become a SITE strategic partner?<\/h4>

A: Leadership showed me the impact SITE creates. A strategic partnership was a natural next step \u2014 it expanded our reach, amplified our message, and elevated visibility with customers. Success naturally led to deeper engagement.<\/p>

Q: How does partnering with SITE support your goals in promoting Discover Puerto Rico to the right incentive audiences?<\/h4>

A: SITE provides direct access to the influential planners, buyers, agencies, and key decision makers in the incentive travel space who are always looking for fresh and dynamic destinations.<\/p>

Through this partnership, we have been able to showcase Puerto Rico\u2019s unique blend of culture, accessibility and world-class offerings with an inspiring setting to precisely the audiences who are looking for experiential locations for high-impact programs.
SITE\u2019s global platform helps amplify our unique message to those who value authenticity, creativity, and a meaningful travel experience.<\/p>

Q: What excites you most about the future of incentive travel?<\/h4>

A: The industry is always evolving. I love seeing new trends emerge and collaborating with customers and peers to create innovative solutions. The creativity within the SITE community inspires me, and I\u2019m excited to see what\u2019s next.<\/p>

Q: As the host of SITE Classic 2026, what can attendees look forward to experiencing in Puerto Rico?<\/h4>
