The SITE Chapter Excellence Award in Sustainable Event recognizes a single Chapter event or activity that demonstrates excellence in sustainability.

2025 WINNER: SITE Florida & Caribbean
This award honors a chapter that showed sustainability isn’t just a theme, but a system, a mindset, and a measurable commitment. They earned this recognition through their Earth Day program, designed from the ground up to model truly sustainable event planning.
For just 50 participants, the event eliminated 100 plastic bottles, 250 disposable items, diverted food waste, and avoided an estimated 90 kilograms of CO2 emissions. It also equipped members to bring sustainable practices into their own work.
