The Richard Ross Past Presidents’ Award was created in memory of SITE Past President and longtime member Richard Ross, who died in the September 11th terrorist attacks in New York City. It recognizes an individual or organization that has furthered the vision, ideals and ethics of SITE.
Embodying the ideals and impact of this award’s namesake, candidates will have demonstrated integrity, honesty and faith in others, with notable contributions and long-term service to the incentive travel and motivational events industry.
2025 Recipient of the Richard Ross Past Presidents’ Award: Dana Weaver
The Richard Ross Past Presidents’ Award honors a career defined by integrity, service, and lasting contributions to SITE and the global incentive travel industry. Dana Weaver exemplifies these values. Throughout his career with Growmark, he championed incentive travel as a driver of performance and engagement, promoting innovation, excellence, and thoughtful program design.
His commitment to SITE spans chapter leadership and service on the SITE Foundation Board, always guided by integrity, collaboration, and faith in others.
As a CIS educator and mentor, Dana has shared his knowledge worldwide, shaping and inspiring the next generation of incentive travel professionals. Even after retirement, he continues to give back, supporting events, auctions, and the SITE Foundation with unwavering dedication.
Dana Weaver truly embodies the vision, service, and mentorship this award celebrates.
